Green 4 Receive Queen's Award for Enterprise
Monday April 21, 2014
Green 4 Solutions is delighted to today (Monday 21 April) be named as winners of a Queen’s Award for Enterprise – the UK’s highest accolade for business success.
We received our award for International Trade in recognition of achieving continued growth, both in the UK and globally. Whilst delivering on and exceeding expectations for our clients within the sports and leisure industries, we have also enabled them to save expenditure and increase income in the process.
Green 4 Solutions Director, Peter Oliver, said: “We are honoured to receive such a prestigious accolade. Our business was founded eight years ago to provide tools for professional sports teams in the UK to improve engagement with their fans.
“From this small acorn, Green 4 has grown into a business that provides both the technology and expertise to Sports and Leisure venues around the world, to help them understand their customers, grow loyalty and maximise revenues.
“Our successes in the UK have acted as a magnet for overseas clients, and in 2013 almost two thirds of our new business was generated from overseas customers as far afield as the Singapore Sports Hub, Snow Planet in New Zealand, AS Monaco, the Qatar Stars League and Denver Broncos in the USA.”
Technical Director, David Robinson added: “It’s been great for everyone in our business to see our products and services used so widely around the world and we’re flattered to have received recognition through the Queen’s Award.”
Green 4 Solutions was formed in 2006 and now employs more than 50 people, with main offices based in Leicestershire, and across Europe and the United States. Strategic partners also take Green 4 to other geographies.
