Client News: Surf Snowdonia Reopens Ahead of the 2016 Season
Monday March 21, 2016
Surf Snowdonia opened its doors to the public over the weekend following a £1m makeover.
The surf lagoon in Dolgarrog, which is the world’s first inland surfing facility, has been relaunched after investment during a five-month winter closure.
The attraction generates the longest man-made surface waves on the planet, and after a lengthy selection process, chose Green 4 Solutions and 4Sight Sport & Leisure as their chosen technology partners. Press release: click here
Much of the new investment has been spent on the mechanics of the motors which power the 300 metre (980 ft) wave-generating lagoon. But behind the scenes, Surf Snowdonia, Green 4 and 4Sight Sport & Leisure have revolutionised the way they engage with their customers and potential visitors.
Green 4 has enabled the real-time management of all booking activities - including free surf, surf lessons, surf courses, water activities and accommodation. Our leisure solution has provided a new and innovative way for Surf Snowdonia to bring together their online and offline strategies.
Surf’s online customer booking journey has been fully customised to reflect their services and requirements. The fully responsive booking interface has ensured a seamless experience for their customers ahead of the 2016 season:
4Sight Sport & Leisure have successfully relaunched their outbound marketing activities too, driving personalised communications to all customers and potential visitors in a bid to increase average spend per person and increase frequency of visits to the valleys of Wales.
The team at Green 4 Solutions and 4Sight Sport & Leisure wish everyone at Surf Snowdonia all the very best for 2016.
